In a mere two days, the 2014 Walpole Rebels will take the hallowed ground of Turco Field to begin another season of high school football excellence. This story may repeat itself, but it never, ever gets old. Every year when a new Rebel football team prepares for the battles of the Bay State League and beyond, every year we fans are treated to some of the best high school football has to offer. Our program is different - Walpole has a higher set of expectations than many high schools around. To achieve those goals, our athletes train and play harder, our coaches study longer and prepare more, and our parents and fans devote more energy to the program than what most other programs can match. The dedication and effort bears out our Motto: Pride - Tradition - Excellence year after year after year! Need proof? Since John Lee took over the program, Walpole has a winning record of 393 Wins 87 Losses and 5 Ties, for a .815 winning percentage.Read More

Tonight begins a four day Smörgåsbord of Walpole High School athletics the likes of which we have never seen before.
This new MIAA schedule is turning out to be more interesting than we first thought. The Rebels continue their trek through unchartered waters Friday night when the Hingham Harbormen come to Turco Field. As this is only the third home game of the season, we hope Coach Greener can find the home uniforms in time to host the Patriot League representatives, currently sporting a 4-5 record.
Who are the Hingham Harbormen you ask?
Walpole came within 2 yards of pulling off what would have been a monster upset over unbeaten Natick last week. Going for the win was the Rebel way of doing things, and could have led to a momentous victory. We don’t know if or when the Rebels have ever scored 55 points in a game.
What prepared the Rebels to play so well against such a good team? Practice? Coaching? Weight lifting? No, it was Toilet Paper!!
After what will go down in Walpole high school history as one of the most gut-wrenching weeks ever, what with the tragic passing of Tommy Quinn and the one-point heroic loss to Natick, the Walpole Rebels this week get to experience something no other Rebel team has - this new three game schedule of unknown teams to determine who goes to the Super Bowls. Walpole certainly drew a worthy opponent for this Friday night - the Red Rocketeers ("Big Red") of North Attleboro, and the Hockomock League. Let's analyze what we are up against...Read More
